The event was organized by the regional Ministry of Housing and Public Services and Energy together with the region’s main electrical network company, the Sociedad Anónima “Redes Eléctricas Regionales”. The seminar was held in the format of a round table chaired by the Deputy Minister of Housing and Utilities and Energy Yevgeny Nazarov, moderated by Elena Afanasyeva, Head of the Department of Energy and Gasification of the Regional Department. The keynote speaker representing RES JSC was Aleksey Gvozdev, the company’s Director of Technology Connections.
At the beginning of the event, Novosibirsk power engineers presented a short report on the main results of the work of the grid organization in the direction of technological connection with an emphasis on the preferential category of applicants. Specifically, there has been a significant increase in the number of applications (around 15%) and a record value of connected capacity of 580 MW facilities in technological connection contracts entered into in 2022.
Aleksey Gvozdev presented to the seminar participants in a visual format information on the latest changes in sectoral legislation, as well as on updating the RES JSC client services in terms of electronic interaction between the network organization and the applicant. He shared some plans to develop the direction of working with clients and optimize the company’s business processes in the medium term.
At the end of the official agenda, the event participants discussed aspects of the procedure for processing documents and payment of technological connection for preferential categories of applicants. Power engineers provided comprehensive answers to questions from representatives of small businesses, as well as public sector organizations and companies.
At the end of the seminar, Elena Afanasyeva, representative of MZHKHiE, noted that the largest power grid company in the region, RES JSC, has made significant steps towards customers, constantly developing and introducing new customer services. This made it possible to make the technological connection procedure more understandable for the applicant, as well as to reduce the times and stages of the entire process.
