American singer Justin Bieber has accused Swedish retailer H&M of selling merchandise inconsistent with his image. WWD writes about it.
The stores sell sweatshirts, dresses, T-shirts, bags, and phone cases. In addition to Bieber’s photos, lines from his song appeared on things: “I miss you more than life” (from the song “Ghost”).
“I have not endorsed any of the merchandising collections that have been shown at H&M. All done without my permission, “Bieber wrote on social media. He also advised fans not to buy these clothes.
After H&M responded to the musician’s allegations, “As with other licensed products and partnerships, H&M followed proper approval procedures.” The brand said the item will remain for sale as they need to “analyze the situation before taking any action.”
Earlier in Los Angeles he opened a new Loewe store with a Justin Bieber sculpture. The 3,700-square-foot space blends California sunshine with mosaic tiles. Thus, the designer returns to the homeland of the brand – Spain. Similar tiles can be found everywhere in Madrid and Valencia.
