The latest to submit the necessary package of documents for registration was the current head of the region, Batu Khasikov.
He received 84 sheets of support for the candidate from deputies and municipal leaders.
Within ten days the documents will be checked and a decision will be made to register or reject the candidate.
In total, out of five nominated candidates, four representatives of different parties submitted their packages to the electoral commission: Mikhail Namruev, Yuri Khrushchev, Aisa Bayanova and Batu Khasikov.
