At the annual meeting, the leaders of the Far Eastern tourist information centers discussed the work in 2022 and plans for the future, including the development of unified plans for the promotion of territories.
“It is important to establish interregional interaction so that tourists from both the central part of Russia and the Far East can easily travel between our macro-region,” explained Olga Gurevich, director of the Primorsky Territory Tourist Information Center. .
The ICT Association accepted a new member into its ranks – the non-profit organization “Fund for Tourism Development, International and Interregional Projects of the Chukotka Autonomous Okrug”.
As a result of the meeting, the director of the Kamchatka Tourism and Exhibition Center, Alexander Zhuravlev, was elected president of the Far Eastern Association of Tourist Information Centers.
The business forum “Far East – Winter of Discovery” is a traditional interregional platform, a federal event in the field of tourism, where the most pressing issues of the tourism industry are discussed. The initiator of the forum is the government of the Kamchatka Territory with the active support of the Office of the Plenipotentiary Representative of the President of the Russian Federation in the Far Eastern Federal District, the Ministry for Development of the Russian Far East, the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation and the Roscongress Foundation.
