The tragedy occurred in December last year, according to the Kamchatka Territory prosecutor’s office. A 57-year-old man with no fixed address in the building of one of the Yelizovo hostels made a comment to two teenagers who violated public order.
They beat him and then for two days they returned to the utility room where the victim lived and continued to beat him.
A random witness intervened in the situation. The woman called the doctors, who took the man to the hospital. There he died from injuries sustained as a result of the beating.
The court sentenced one of the adolescents to five years in prison in an educational colony. At the same time, he took into account the active contribution to the investigation of the crime and the confession of guilt. As for the second type, the forensic medical examination showed that he did not realize the real nature and social danger of his actions and could not control them. Therefore, the criminal proceedings against him were terminated.
