The Boston Strangler trailer has been released. Keira Knightley played the lead role in the film. The video was featured on the Rotten Tomatoes Trailers YouTube channel.
The video introduced the central character of the crime drama – journalist Loretta McLaughlin. In the 1960s, she undertook to investigate a series of brutal murders. Loretta was the first to understand that a maniac was operating in Massachusetts.
The movie is based on true events. A serial killer preyed on women in Boston between 1962 and 1964. According to official figures, he killed 11 women, but the actual number of victims may be higher.
The film will be written and directed by Crown Heights’ Matt Raskin. Among the producers of the picture were Ridley Scott and Margot Robbie. Boston Strangler premieres March 17 on Hulu and Disney+.
