Kendrick Lamar is the headliner of the Super Bowl, which will take place on February 9 at the New Orleans stadium. More than 70 thousand people are expected to attend the event, Variety reports.
“I look forward to seeing everyone at the 59th Super Bowl. There is only one chance to win, there will be no second round after the final. Don’t miss out and dress up, even if you’re watching from home,” Lamar said.
Kendrick’s big solo performance will be in the competition for the first time. In 2022, he already took the stage to support Dr. Dre alongside Snoop Dogg, Eminem, 50 Cent and Mary J. Blige.
Previously, Kendrick Lamar recorded the soundtrack for a Chanel short film. The rapper performed a soulful jazz version of the unreleased song. We discuss it in more detail here.
