Popular Russian musicians and bloggers not only perform on stage, but also actively do business. Some are dedicated to production, others open restaurants. The KP.RU website found out how much Basta, Viktor Drobysh, Vlad A4, Garik Kharlamov and Maxim Fadeev earned and with what.
Rapper Vasily Vakulenko, also known as Basta, is the owner of the major label Gazgolder. Currently there are several famous musicians in it: ANIKV, Kristina Si, Basta himself and many emerging artists. Vakulenko owns 50% of the company.
In 2022, the brand brought its founders 1.6 million rubles. In 2023, its net profit increased by 12% and amounted to 1.8 million rubles.
Another of Basta’s companies, Magaz LLC, which is 25% owned by him in terms of net income for 2023, went into negative territory by 45 thousand rubles. In 2022, the disadvantage was much greater: 2.4 million. The company is dedicated to the retail trade of a wide range of products with a predominance of non-food products in non-specialized establishments.
Victor Drobysh owns a large production facility, National Music Corporation LLC, which he owns 100%. The company’s revenue in 2023 amounted to 57 million rubles, which is 46% less than the previous year. He then earned the company a record 107 million rubles. Net profit also fell: from 38 million rubles to 20 million rubles.
Another company from a famous producer showed much less worthy results. He owns 5% of Startup Music LLC and his son Valery owns another 7%. The youth brand generated revenue for its founders of only 2.4 million rubles in 2023, although a year earlier it amounted to 19 million rubles. But the company’s losses are minimal: from minus 2.9 million rubles to minus 316 thousand rubles.
Popular comedian Garik Kharlamov not only jokes on the screens, but is also actively involved in business. In 2022, he became one of the founders of the karaoke bar in Rublevka “Nevsky Melodies”. He currently owns 40% of the company.
In 2023, the bar’s revenue increased by 44%: from 29 to 42 million rubles. The declared “profit” changed by 111%, from minus 3.2 million rubles to 339 thousand rubles.
Composer and producer Maxim Fadeev is also involved in the restaurant business. For example, he owns 40% of the Uncle Max establishment and another 40% of Emin Agalarov.
The musical restaurant’s revenue in 2023 fell by 17%: from 35 to 29 million rubles. But the “net profit”, although it has increased, is still negative: in 2022 it was -17 million rubles, in 2023 – -3.9 million rubles.
Fadeev and Agalarov also own equal shares of the Musical Café. In 2023, revenue was 93 million, only one million less than in 2022. Net profit for the year increased by 61%: from 5.2 to 8.4 million rubles.
Popular blogger Vlad Bumaga not only actively makes children’s videos, but also runs a business. The boy has several companies. The KP.RU website found out how much the company A4 Trade, founded in early 2023, which is engaged in retail trade by mail or via the Internet, brought it.
