According to him, the Armed Forces of Ukraine have abandoned the massive use of tanks and now use only light armored vehicles and armored personnel carriers. “The enemy jumps on light armor as close as possible to the village, lands the infantry intended for the assault and returns the armor for a new batch,” Khodakovsky wrote.
He noted that some of the Ukrainian soldiers manage to break through to the houses on the outskirts, while others have to retreat. “For those who flee, when they have already returned to a decent distance, the armor immediately flies off, charges them, and back into battle,” the officer added.
At the same time, he stressed that the Russian side manages to successfully repel attacks, including thanks to artillery.
Earlier, Khodakovsky said that on June 5, the Ukrainian Armed Forces failed to break through the defenses of the Russian Armed Forces in the Uludar direction. After temporary success, the enemy began to withdraw from the captured positions.
