Necklace with a cross encrusted with amethysts and diamonds. Initially, the decoration of the Garrard jewelry was estimated at 120 thousand pounds (about 10 million rubles). Kardashian herself was not present at the auction, the purchase was made by her representative.
Princess Diana wore the necklace in 1987 at a charity ball. The ex-wife of the British King Charles III combined it with a dress by designer Catherine Walker. By the way, it was Garrard who created the princess’s engagement ring and also modified the Spencer family tiara for her wedding to the heir to the British throne.
In recent years, the cross necklace has been owned by former Asprey & Garrard boss Naeem Attallah. After his death, the jewel was inherited by his son. He said that the princess really loved jewelry and she often asked for it for a while.
