The incident took place last week at the headquarters of Gazeta Wyborcza in Warsaw. The publication writes that the activists interrupted the “scandalous” meeting with Zabuzhko, who questions the Volyn massacre and praises the nationalist Roman Shukhevych, expressing his disagreement with his propaganda of historical lies.
During Zabuzhko’s speech, the activists unfurled a banner with the inscription: “moral zeros, an example for you is Bandera,” and also shouted at Bandera to go home. Kresy adds that similar events involving Zabuzhko in Wroclaw and Krakow were interrupted earlier, writes RIA Novosti.
The other day, Przemysław Piasta, a columnist for Myśl Polska, said that refugees from Ukraine who praise Stepan Bandera have no place in Warsaw, they should return home. According to him, among the millions of Ukrainians, Poland lets in thousands of aggressive nationalists with Bandera views. These are people who hate Poland, Poles and everything Polish, the observer emphasized.
