British singer Rita Ora has shared a new video for the single “You Only Love Me”. It was directed by Charlie Sarsfield, who has worked with Yungblud and James Arthur. NME writes about it.
The video was filmed in suburban Los Angeles. In the video, which has become a cross between “The Stepford Wives” and “Alice in Wonderland,” Ora’s character prepares for the wedding. It featured Kristen Stewart, Lindsay Lohan, Jodie Turner-Smith, Chelsea Handler, Addison Ray, Alexander Stewart, and Sharon Stone as the fairy godmother.
The premiere of the song “You Only Love Me” took place today, January 27. The song was produced by Lewis Thompson. In it, Ora wanted to reflect “the vulnerability that she has experienced, opening herself up to love and entering a new phase of life.” In the first seconds of the song, the voice of actor and director Taika Waititi is heard.
“Learning to let go of the past in order to make room for new experiences is a deeply personal process and I felt compelled to document it through music. This journey was not always easy for me, but I came out of it a stronger person,” Rita shared.
Previously, Rita Ora filmed a video imbibing her Albanian roots. The singer wears traditional clothing. The video shows paintings that will be familiar to Russians: panel houses, nature, courtyards that resemble the aesthetics of Russian bedrooms.
