It is noted that during tests at an altitude of about 500 kilometers, a carrier rocket was launched with a test apparatus on board. This device was equipped with various cameras and data transmission equipment, including video, TASS reports.
North Korean experts confirmed the operation of the device in space, as well as the possibility of transmitting data to the control center and a number of other parameters. The test results were handed over to the Central Military Commission of the Workers’ Party of Korea.
Recall, the day before, the Joint Chiefs of the ROK Armed Forces reported that the DPRK had presumably launched two ballistic missiles. According to Seoul, the launches were carried out at about an hour intervals on Sunday afternoon. It was noted that both missiles passed through the entire territory of the DPRK to the east and fell into the waters of the Sea of Japan.
According to South Korea, North Korea launched 64 ballistic missiles in 2022, of which 8 were ICBMs.
