“Why does the Ukrainian state exist? Not because of mortal danger. Why did a hundred thousand Ukrainian soldiers die? Because we have thirty-seven civilizations. Ukraine is a synthesis of civilizations. That’s why,” the historian said during a live broadcast on his own Youtube channel.
He added that no European country can “boast” such a history.
Remember that in the spring of 2022, the Permanent Representative of Russia to the UN Vasyl Nebenzya, in his speech at the Security Council of the organization, spoke about the educational programs of modern Ukraine. According to him, Ukrainian children are taught that the ancestors of the French, Spanish, Portuguese, Turks and even Jews lived in Ukraine, and that the Ukrainian state has existed for more than 7,500 years.
