Laima Vaikule has told how she felt when she first learned of her breast cancer diagnosis. The artist admitted that she was on edge and sought solace in the church.
“I was left alone on the edge of the abyss, I hated everyone. I had a period where I just hated people. I thought: ‘Why me? Why?!’” she told gossip columnists at the Rendezvous festival.
He recalled how his band’s drummer shared his joy. During a period of total shortage, a man dreamed of buying shoes for his children. “I hated it at that moment! What shoes?! What shoes?! The star did not understand what was happening and why. She went to the church to find answers to her questions.
