The annual music festival Lollapalooza has announced the headliners. This year they are Billie Eilish, Kendrick Lamar, The 1975, Lana Del Rey, Odesza, Tomorrow X Together and Karol G. The latter will go down in history as the first Latin American artist to headline the festival. NME writes about it.
Also, Carly Rae Jepsen, Rina Sawayama, Pusha T, Lil Yachty, 30 Seconds To Mars, Beebadoobee, Sabrina Carpenter, Gorgon City, Alex G, Diplo, Joey Bada$$, NewJeans, Maggie Rogers, Tom Odell, Holly Humberstone, Linda Lindas and Suki Waterhouse.
Lollapalooza will take place at Giant Park in Chicago, Illinois. The event will take place from August 3 to 6.
Last year Dua Lipa, Doja Cat, Charli XCX, Girl in Red, Ashnikko and Måneskin participated in the festival. Also headlining included cult rock bands Metallica and Green Day.
It was previously announced that Arctic Monkeys and Guns N’ Roses will headline the Glastonbury Music Festival this year. They will join Elton John, whose participation was announced in December. His performance will be the final leg of the singer’s farewell world tour.
