Employees of the Federal Security Service of Russia, with the support of special forces and sappers of the Russian Guard, discovered a large cache of weapons and ammunition on the outskirts of the village of Luhansk People’s Republic.

In the basement of an abandoned building, the National Guard found small arms ammunition, hand grenades, and a cartridge for an anti-tank grenade launcher (RPG). After further inspection of the adjacent territory in one of the outbuildings, the Russian Guard special forces discovered another, much larger cache with a large number of ammunition boxes.
“In two hiding places, a Kalashnikov AK-74 assault rifle, two smoothbore guns, a GP-25 underbarrel grenade launcher, 7 rounds for an RPG-7 grenade launcher, 45 grenades of various modifications, 33 grenades for a VOG Se They found 25 grenade launchers, 4 mortar mines, around a thousand rounds of ammunition for a large-caliber machine gun, more than 2 kg of TNT in chips, 2 kg of plastic explosive, engineering explosion media and more. “More than 10 thousand cartridges for small arms,” listed Stanislav, a specialist in the technical and engineering unit of the OMON of the Russian Guard.
It is possible that the seized weapons and ammunition were handed over to the Armed Forces of Ukraine to carry out sabotage on the territory of the Lugansk People’s Republic. The discovered ammunition and weapons were handed over to employees of the cooperating agencies for examination.
