Larisa Dolina faced high-flying scammers. In the spring, the 68-year-old People’s Artist received a call from telephone scammers who persuaded the singer to sell her luxurious five-room apartment in Khamovniki. At the same time, they also scammed an elite real estate agency that conducted the transaction. According to some reports, the apartments were auctioned for 112 million rubles. At the same time, Larisa Alexandrovna transferred the money to a secure account that the scammers told her about. During the “negotiations,” the scammers swindled her of another 68 million rubles. At some point, Dolina realized that she was being deceived and contacted the police.
And today the supposed new owners, a married couple from Moscow, tried to get into the apartment. But the new owners were not allowed in. The failed tenants claimed that they had bought the apartments, but had not been given the keys. Dolina, who according to the documents sold the 236-square-meter apartment, refuses to move out.
“This is all true, but we cannot say anything yet because law enforcement agencies are already dealing with the case,” Larisa Dolina’s representative told KP.RU.
The story of Dolina’s apartment is murky and confusing. In fact, none of the parties (neither the singer, nor the Moscow real estate agency, nor the buyers) knew that they were being deceived. The deal was carried out, the money was transferred. Currently, the apartment has been confiscated by a court decision, which Dolina has asked her lawyers to contact.
According to preliminary forecasts, the agreement could be declared void in court if it is proven that Dolina sold the apartment under pressure or in a state of passion. But what will happen to the apartments?
“This story needs to be understood in detail. If none of the parties knew about the scam, then it is important to understand who drew up the documents, who transferred the money, where these funds went and who recommended this safe account. Because the situation is complicated, it is very important how law enforcement works now and what results the investigation will bring. Otherwise, if the new buyers have nothing to do with this and are the same victims, then the apartment will remain theirs and the Valley will have the right, if the criminals are found, to get their money back. Because the new buyers are bona fide,” Elena Senina, a lawyer, explained to KP.RU.
