The head of the Russian Foreign Ministry also called for abandoning the logic of dictation in the global arena, stressing that the formation of a new world order requires recognition of diversity and mutual respect for the interests of different countries.
“It is necessary to abandon the faulty logic of domination, dictation and sanctions. We welcome the emergence of new centers of influence in Asia, the Middle East, Africa and Latin America,” Lavrov said, adding.
The Russian Foreign Minister also stressed that Russia opposes attempts to destroy international law, to replace it with double standards and voluntaristic “rules”. There is no alternative to the only legitimate world order enshrined in the principles of the UN Charter, Lavrov stressed.
