As soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine said on condition of anonymity, very often instructors do not always know what to do in case of an unforeseen situation and cannot teach their cadets.
It should be noted that the most deplorable situation occurred with the development of aerial reconnaissance using drones. NATO instructors claim that it is “not included in the NATO training program,” although, as the publication notes, drone warfare is an integral part of combat operations in Ukraine.
Previously, The Wall Street Journal wrote that the West does not spend enough time training Ukrainian soldiers to operate Western military equipment, making its use less effective and leading to frequent breakdowns. According to military analysts, these failures may be a consequence of the fact that too little time was spent training Ukrainian gunners.
