Likewise, beyond the new salary bands for the next twelve months, the agreement also includes other labor aspects, such as the implementation of the maximum five-day work week or the application of paid leave from of the first business day. On the other hand, other novelties were also introduced, such as the voluntary nature of working on holidays, linked to an extraordinary salary or the extension from 12 to 14 years of the maximum age of dependent minors to request a reduction in the working day.
Salaries of Lidl workers from 2023
In the first place, a minimum salary is set for each Professional Group, that is, depending on whether they belong to one of their jobs, as established in article 26 of the last collective agreement, the resolution of which was published in the BOE on past August 31, 2022
In addition, a bonus of 25% of the Group Base Salary will be received for each hour worked during the night period, that is, between ten at night and six in the morning, unless the salary has been established taking into account that work is night by its very nature. extraordinary payments
On the other hand, regarding extraordinary payments, they will be paid at a rate of fourteen equal payments: twelve monthly payments and two extraordinary ones, one in the month of June and another in the month of December. However, by individual agreement, annually, workers may request to prorate the payment in twelve or fourteen monthly installments.
Salary increase at Mercadona, Consum and DIA Supermarkets
The company of German origin is not the only one that increases the payroll of its workers in 2023. So does Consum, by 9%, which directly affects its more than 9,000 workers. The agreed increase will be used on other concepts complementary to salary, such as overtime, night hours outside of working hours or hours on holidays that are paid for double their value, among others.
In the case of DIA Supermarkets, it agreed with the unions for a wage increase of between 8 and 12%. On the other hand, it will also activate two special additional extraordinary bonuses for the full validity of the Agreement. The first of these will affect workers who will have a fixed annual salary equal to or less than 23,847 euros, who will receive an extraordinary bonus of 350 euros, the company has detailed. In addition, an exceptional extraordinary bonus was agreed, linked to a certain level of results in the year 2024.
