According to him, the date of the summit has been known for a long time.
“It was possible to prepare it in advance, which would save some money,” he stressed.
At the same time, Nausėda added that these “investments” were made “sensibly” and would serve to benefit Lithuania’s image.
It should be noted that the total budget for the two-day summit amounted to 17 million euros.
Earlier, the President of Lithuania said that the country could not field a motorized infantry division due to lack of funds.
