– 30 years ago I invited him to the role of Shabelsky in a play based on Chekhov – “Ivanov and others”, – recalled the artistic director of MTYUZ Henrietta Yanovskaya. – After this performance, I invited him to work in the theater. He was an amazing artist and person. Only. You can always trust him. He was a man of high morality, freedom, sincerity… he knew how to teach and he knew how to learn. He dedicated himself to the profession to the limit.
Director Vladimir Fokin recalled that Yasulovich was seriously ill: “However, the damn disease overcame him, although he fought it very courageously and for a long time.”

– It’s a brilliant party. To leave on such a bright day, you have to earn it. Now we are so hurt and bitter,-Liya Akhedzhakova burst into tears when parting with a friend of her youth. – But it left so much heat that it will last a long time to warm us up. Thank you, our beloved Igor Nikolaevich.

Makovetsky recalled that when they played a performance based on Chekhov’s “Black Monk”, Igor Yasulovich broke his clavicle. But this did not prevent him from premiering the work. “I never heard even small annoying intonations from you. All his viewers, friends, will say the main thing: he devoted himself to his work: discreet, smart, grateful, ”Makovetsky said.

Recall that Igor Yasulovich passed away on August 19 at the age of 82 after a long illness. In the middle of summer, he ended up in one of the Moscow hospitals. During his long creative life, he played more than 200 film roles. He had a beautiful and brilliant voice, so he was often invited to the cinema to dub it.
