The incident occurred on September 10 at 23:17 on the Volokonovka-Novy Oskol section.
The reason for the derailment was “interference with the operation of railway transport.”
Law enforcement officials are at the scene of the incident, South Eastern Railway said.
The operational centre to eliminate the consequences of the emergency has also started to operate.
