State Lotteries and Betting has already paid out a total of 1,227,701,870 euros from the 2022 Extraordinary Christmas Draw prizes, reaching 56.2% of the Draw prizes. Specifically, 632,819,840 euros have been paid corresponding to jackpots that will be collected at financial institutions. To this amount must be added 594,882,030 euros relating to prizes of less than 2,000 euros collected at points of sale.
The 2,520 million distributed this year in the draw have meant an increase of 112 million compared to last year’s prizes that were close to 2,408 million. In reference to those prizes that are worth less than 2,000 euros per tenth, they will be collected exclusively at one of the 10,600 points of sale that the Lottery network has. In addition, the prizes may be collected in cash or through Bizum.
On the other hand, prizes greater than 2,000 euros must be collected from authorized financial institutions, the list of which is available on the official lottery and betting website. For the tenths obtained through the online channel, the biggest prizes will be paid by bank transfer to the bank account communicated by the player in their gaming account after the draw. Smaller prizes will be credited directly to the game account, provided they do not exceed the legally established limits.
These prizes may be collected until March 22, 2023, since the law stipulates that the right to collect Christmas Lottery prizes expires three months from the date of this draw. It is also essential to present the tenth or the receipt so that the prize can be paid without problems.
