Louis Vuitton will present the first collection for newborns in the history of the fashion house. It goes on sale on March 3. WWD writes about it.
The brand has designed clothing, shoes and accessories for children. Therefore, the release will include jumpsuits, jumpsuits, pajamas, dresses, coats with a hood, as well as accessories – from knitted slippers to hats, bibs and socks.
In the color palette: milky white, sand and gray. A reinvented pattern with a monogram will be placed on things. The logo of the house will also decorate the leather shoes and will appear on the labels.
The clothes are intended for children up to 12 months. It is made of selected materials in accordance with environmental standards. For example, cotton and leather are certified by the Leather Working Group, while cashmere and sheep’s wool are produced by animal welfare partners.
In addition to clothing, Louis Vuitton offers an engraved silver goblet, a teddy bear, and a wardrobe trunk.
“The collection is a thoughtful range of everyday items and special occasions, early toys that can become memorable gifts for a lifetime,” the brand said in a statement.
Earlier it became known that the head of the Christian Dior fashion house, Pietro Beccari, will become the CEO and chairman of the board of directors of the Louis Vuitton brand. In these roles, Beccari will replace Michael Burke, one of LVMH’s longest-serving employees, who has been with the company since 1986.
