Louis Vuitton has announced a new version of the Horizon Light Up wireless earphones. In it, the brand continues the tradition of the 2019 and 2020 launches, as well as other Horizon staples like smartwatches and speakers. Hypebeast writes about it.
The headphones come in five colors. The slightly curved case is made of lightweight aluminium, while the tactile dial is made of sapphire crystal. The model is applied with a gradient, the characteristic pattern of the fashion house in the form of a flower.
The shape of the case refers to the LV Tambour smartwatch. It is made of polished stainless steel and also decorated with a Louis Vuitton engraving.
Sound quality is not sacrificed for design. Horizon headphones were created in collaboration with Master & Dynamic. Among the new features are active noise cancellation, a built-in microphone to eliminate background noise, and Bluetooth Multipont, which means the user can stream audio from two different sources at the same time.
Earlier, Louis Vuitton presented the second part of the collaboration with Japanese artist Yaya Kusama, who rethought the design of the brand’s perfume collection. The capsule reflected Kusama’s love for flowers, faces, and pumpkins. Floral imagery is often found in her work, in paintings, sculptures, installations, and silkscreens.
