The Louis Vuitton fashion house has expanded the perfume line with Pacific Chill. French perfumer Jacques Cavalier Belletrud worked on it, writes Hypebeast.
Belletrude was inspired by detox juices, Los Angeles and health: “One morning in Los Angeles, while chatting with Alex Israel, we both ordered one of those detox smoothies that Californians love so much. I was inspired by the vitamin-rich juice and told Alex: “I’m going to create a detox perfume”.
The fragrance is designed to make you feel like you are relaxing under the “sun-kissed Californian sky”. Fruity notes of blackcurrant are combined with notes of cedar, lemon, coriander seed, ambrette, basil, mint, orange and, according to the brand, “restores the mind, body and soul”.
Previously, Louis Vuitton released new shoe models from the Shake line. The summer release is inspired by the Twist bag, which brings the sculpted LV closure to the top tab. Made in lacquered or shiny metal, the monogram is a striking addition that gives the shoe a striking effect.
