Former Lacoste creative director Louise Trotter has taken on a similar role at Carven. The designer will present the first collection in September within the framework of Paris Fashion Week. WWD writes about it.
By the way, this will also be Carven’s first show after a long break: he hasn’t released full collections for several years. The last show of the fashion house took place in 2018.
Louise Trotter left her position at Lacoste after four years in the role. Executives at the French sportswear brand will not be looking to replace it. According to Thierry Guibert, the responsibility for the new collections will fall on the design team, and not just on the brand director, as before.
Earlier, Lacoste appointed a new creative design director: Pelageya Kolotouros. In this role, she will oversee collaborations. We talk about it in more detail here.
