Colville founders Molly Molloy and Lucinda Chambers will be the new guest designers at AZ Factory. They will show their collection, which rethinks the legacy of Albert Elbaz, on March 6 as part of Paris Fashion Week. WWD writes about it.
For 20 years, Molloy and Chambers worked at Marni. In 2019 they launched their own brand Colville. Designers produce bright clothes from recycled materials. Their brand palette blends perfectly with Elbaz’s signature colors.
Colville’s collections are not tied to trends and seasons, so the silhouettes and prints in them can be repeated after a while. The brand concept is based on a bold eclecticism.
Let’s remember that the previous AZ Factory guest designer was Lutz Ouellet. He promised to add some “sharpness” and sexuality to the brand.
