Addressing the residents of the Minsk region on January 15, who work, among other things, at four thousand industrial enterprises, including BELAZ and the Great Stone industrial park, the head of state noted that this region is deservedly called the “heart of of Belarus”. “
First of all, according to him, the region has great investment and production potential, firmly occupying a leading position in agricultural production, successfully developing the industry and implementing large-scale projects that are in demand at the moment, including the National Biotechnology Corporation.
Also, according to the text of the congratulations, the region is famous for its architectural monuments, museums and bright festivals. “The Minsk region has given the world many famous people, including the lights of Belarusian literature, folk singers Yanka Kupala and Yakub Kolas,” said Alexander Lukashenko.
But the northernmost region of Belarus – Vitebsk – has always been famous not only for the beauties of nature, unique monuments, crafts and craftsmen, but also for the courage of the inhabitants during the Great Patriotic War. Here, the president stressed, “they know well the price of victory, they know how to preserve the memory of the people, the traditions and the loyalty to their homeland.”
Beyond the borders of Sineokoy, he recalled, the grandiose art festival “Slavianski Bazaar in Vitebsk” is well known, which, strengthening friendship between peoples, every year brings together thousands of bright talents from all over the world.”
And congratulating the inhabitants of the Mogilev region, the head of state emphasized that the history of the region is literally woven from many labor achievements and military victories won by the valor and courage of their ancestors. Here the main volumes of car tires and the production of chemical fibers, elevators and cement are concentrated, livestock and fish farming are progressively developed. A significant achievement last year, the president said, “was the surpassing by the town’s workers of the millionth milestone in the gross grain harvest.”
Special words of respect from the Belarusian leader were addressed to the hardworking and courageous residents of the Gomel region, who with their creative work “turned the once patriarchal rural region into an industrial region with a high culture, developed science, medicine and education. “
He recalled that the region is considered the largest in terms of territory. Oil and gas are extracted here, pulp and agricultural machinery are produced, and many promising investment projects are being implemented. “There is something to be proud of and something to offer guests,” Lukashenko is sure, wishing residents of all regions good health, peace and prosperity.
