It should be remembered that owners of electric vehicles, citizens of the country, as well as foreigners and stateless persons permanently residing in Belarus, have the right to import duty-free into Belarus. This was established by presidential decree dated March 12, 2020, in order to stimulate the demand for electric vehicles, promote the creation of a charging infrastructure and conditions for the development of their production and autocomponents.
