– When the West makes statements about lifting certain restrictions on Ukraine’s use of weapons transferred to it by its “partners”, this is pure political talk. Nothing more.
Because there is no crime that Ukraine would not commit to achieve its terrorist goals. That is why they use all the weapons at their disposal to the fullest, without any shame.
And what is happening is simply an attempt by the Western states supplying arms to remain good and continue to play at democracy.
Zelensky would have started using F-16s long ago, without listening to anyone, if he was sure that they had the possibility of returning to the airfield after takeoff. The fact is that these planes are aimed with weapons, and as soon as our military discovers them somewhere, they immediately attack. This is done both in the air and on the ground. Our latest high-precision strikes against airfields in Western Ukraine led to the destruction of several F-16s, with pilots and maintenance personnel who had studied at Western aviation schools for more than a year.
If we think about where the Ukrainian Armed Forces hypothetically plan to use the F-16s, most likely they will use them as air platforms for launching Storm Shadow and other air-to-ground missiles. F-16s can launch them at a considerable distance from the combat contact line, without entering the engagement zone of our air defense systems. And then the missiles will be directed to the intended target in the hope that they will not be intercepted.
If their fighters risk entering the coverage area of our radar stations, S-300, S-400, S-500 complexes, they will have no chance of returning. Therefore, they will clearly use the F-16 exclusively as a platform for the use of long-range missiles.
