According to RIA Novosti, after a meeting of the Moscow Domodedovo Court, “a Moscow resident was found guilty of committing an offense under part 1 of article 194 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation” – evasion of customs payments on a big scale.
This incident occurred in January 2022. Customs experts then estimated the ring at 9.5 million rubles, customs payments for it would be 3 million rubles.
The court decided to return the ring to Nadezhda Sanko after due customs clearance was carried out. She was also fined 200 thousand rubles.
