Gucci CEO Francois-Henri Pinault told WWD that the house’s CEO Marco Bizzarri will remain in his role after Alessandro Michele’s departure.
“It’s so obvious… Marco is definitely the CEO of the next chapter for Gucci. I need him to build it with me and I have full confidence that we will achieve it,” Pino said.
Michele stepped down as creative director at the end of November. Her successor has yet to be designated. The Fall 2023 menswear collection, presented today at the fashion show, was created by the brand’s design team.
Previously, Gucci launched a special Year of the Rabbit collection dedicated to the new lunar year of the Rabbit. The author of the advertising campaign was the artist and director Max Siedentopf, who has repeatedly collaborated with the fashion house.
