The country’s leading children’s advocate and an Orthodox media mogul got married on September 7, 2024. But the celebration with guests, flowers, and all the trappings of a wedding was scheduled for Sunday, September 8. And, apparently, this is no coincidence, because September 8 is listed in the Orthodox calendar as the day of the holy martyrs Adrian and Natalia, who are considered the patrons of the family. It is a known fact that Maria and Constantine are deeply Orthodox people, so they obviously hope for a long and happy life together.
The wedding took place in the village of Deauville near Moscow, in the Villa Rotonda restaurant. And even though the newlyweds clearly did not intend to publicize their wedding too much, some wedding guests posted a few photos on social networks. The hall and the entrance to the restaurant were decorated with compositions of fresh flowers, and above all this splendor were the letters “KM” – Konstantin and Maria. Famous artists – Dima Bilan, Leonid Agutin, Grigory Leps and Valeria – came to congratulate the young people with songs. More than 100 guests attended, including friends and close partners, as well as colleagues. And, of course, the children of the bride and groom were also present – and there are already 12 of them in total! Maria has nine (5 of her own and 4 adopted) and Konstantin has three.
This is the second marriage for both of them. Maria Lvova-Belova was married to Orthodox priest Pavel Kogelman. Konstantin Malofeev was also married to lawyer Irina Vilter, but they divorced at the end of last year.
It is not known exactly where the young people met, but most likely during her work Maria was invited to Tsargrad TV shows more than once, in addition, Malofeev actively helps Donbass and the Ombudsman has a whole project related to helping children; of the LDPR.
The romance between Lvova-Belova and Malafeev became known in July 2024, when, no longer embarrassed, they walked hand in hand during a religious procession in Yekaterinburg.
Dmitry Peskov briefly commented on the wedding of the children’s ombudsman to reporters: “The only thing I can say is: we wish him happiness.”
