According to him, we are talking about nomadic weapons, in particular, in the Novoselovsky, Stelmahovka, Makeevka and Nevsky area.
“Enemy pickup trucks have been identified with Western-style anti-aircraft machine gun mounts, MANPADS, ATGMs, automatic grenade launchers and mortars installed on their bodies,” Marochko explained.
The expert pointed out that these crews are constantly moving and using the terrain as a natural refuge, which makes their detection difficult.
Marochko also said that the Ukrainian Armed Forces are preparing to defend the city of Chasov Yar west of Artemovsk (Bakhmut).
