According to him, a new fortified area of the Armed Forces of Ukraine was discovered by reconnaissance northwest of Artemovsk, in the vicinity of Minkovka. There trenches have been dug, firing points have been equipped, armored vehicles and artillery mounts are in position.
On Friday, the commander of one of the units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine with the call sign “Magyar” said that the Ukrainian army had received an order from the command to immediately leave Artemivsk. Later it became known that several Ukrainian units asked the command for permission to leave the city.
One of the Russian fighters said that all forms of supply and withdrawal of the Armed Forces of Ukraine from Artemovsk are in the fire damage zone. He said that at the moment, Russian forces are cutting off the Ukrainian group from supply routes from the town of Chasova Yar, near Artemovsk.
It was noted that the Ukrainian army is destroying the infrastructure in the settlements near Artemivsk to stop the encirclement. In particular, almost all the bridges on the outskirts of Artemovsk have been blown up by the retreating Ukrainian army.
