The sanctions war has shown that even this purely civilian product is better for us to make ourselves in Russia, the city chief noted. According to the mayor, the company’s production capacity is up to 15,000 ATMs per year, and it can be doubled. This almost completely covers the needs of the Russian market. BFS has already received advance orders for 7,000 ATMs. Georgy Mironov, marketing director of the BFS group of companies, told the RG correspondent that negotiations are currently underway with the largest banks in Russia: “This is individual work, we take into account the wishes of colleagues in terms of appearance of devices and technical characteristics”.
The company will cover almost all the needs of the Russian market.
BFS ATMs can read bank and transport cards, as well as barcodes, contactless, there is a biometric camera. The device is also reliably protected from fraudsters and vandals. “In a word, a high-quality competitive product that meets current and future market demands” – this is how Sergey Sobyanin assessed the innovation.
According to Georgy Mironov, it is important to note that the device was completely created by BFS, from the development of the project documentation to the final assembly. Of more than 800 of its components – 80 percent of Russian production. Some of the necessary components are now supplied by a partner in China, but over time, the Russian manufacturer plans to take over for them.
In the industrial park “Rudnevo” the new production occupies a site of 5.5 thousand square meters. “We have a conveyor line, 11 final assembly stations and 9 finished product test stations,” said Georgy Mironov. “There is a laboratory where work continues on new models of ATMs, an office, a showroom. In a word, everything necessary for the comfortable work of the staff in a modern format.
Working for the company at this unique site is also financially beneficial. Industrial park “Rudnevo” is included in the special economic zone “Moscow Technopolis”. Its residents are exempt from paying property, transportation, and land taxes. And for Muscovites, the appearance of a new production is also the appearance of new jobs with good salaries. Currently, 70 employees are employed here, but in the next few months there will be 120 of them.
