According to her, during this time, the senators considered “about 500 laws.” By the way, 70 of them were developed directly with the participation of members of the upper house of parliament.
The speaker also noted the priorities that came before her chamber in the spring:
1. Issues of supporting the economy, national businesses facing sanctions.
– About 80 are socially significant laws, – said Matvienko. – Despite the very difficult conditions, social guarantees to citizens are being fully implemented, not a single national project has been stopped. The children’s budget is almost 2.5 trillion rubles. This has never happened.
2. Passage of laws to support the participants in a special military operation and their families.
Some 60 laws were passed. In particular, the president of the Federation Council highlighted the presidential initiative to create a support fund for SVO members and their families, where any fighter or his relative can come “and receive any advice, any help, support without bureaucracy.” ”.
3. Integration of new subjects of the Federation in the legal, economic and social space of Russia.
Here Matvienko proposed to create a council for the integration of new regions under the Federation Council:
– There it is necessary to start everything from scratch in terms of legislation, regulations: they, of course, do not have enough experience. Regional parliaments will be elected in September: it is important that the laws they will adopt comply with both the Constitution and Russian law, Matviyenko said.
The head of the Federation Council talked a lot about children’s health and recreation: 53 new children’s hospitals and clinics should be built. Now 22 more children’s hospitals are being built (10 more will come online this year). As for the children’s camps, according to Matvienko, “after the Soviet era, the foundations fell into disrepair, some were already sold.” Today laws are being passed to remodel them and put them in order.
– This year 49 new dormitories were introduced, and the technology is very correct, which is produced by our industry – prefabricated modular buildings. They are very comfortable, very comfortable, – noted the speaker.
In response, Vladimir Putin thanked Matvienko and the senators for their work.
