Max Mara Pre-Fall 2023 Collection

In the new Max Mara collection, creative director Ian Griffiths references Marilyn Monroe. More precisely, the book Marilyn in Manhattan: A Year of Joy by Elizabeth Winder. “What if Marilyn had stayed in New York? What would she wear now? Griffith asks these questions. And he offers solutions himself: overalls, baseball jackets, baggy raincoats, dusty pink suits, cropped skinny pants and teddy bear shirt jackets. The teddy bear coat itself is also in the collection, in a festive raspberry hue: after all, in 2023 it celebrates a decade.
