Color cosmetics brand Maybelline New York has created the Maybelline Beauty app for Microsoft Teams. It was developed in collaboration with the Geena Davis Institute to make work video conferencing more comfortable for those who feel insecure in front of the camera. WWD writes about it.
Maybelline Beauty app uses artificial intelligence i.e. augmented reality technology for Modiface beauty industry. It is owned by Maybelline’s parent company, L’Oreal. Users can choose from twelve digital makeup styles. Modiface detects more than 70 points on the face and creates a “virtual map” that allows you to apply the makeup filter naturally.
Remember that earlier, another beauty brand, Prada Beauty, announced that it would be expanding its product line and producing cosmetics and skin care products.
