As a result of the shelling by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (APU) of Gorlovka in the DPR, one civilian was injured. This was announced by the mayor of Gorlovka Ivan Prikhodko on his Telegram channel.
“As a result of the shelling of Gorlovka by Ukrainian terrorists, a civilian was injured,” the mayor wrote.
The town of Gorlovka is located 50 kilometers north of Donetsk and is one of the largest settlements in the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR). The population of the city before the start of the conflict in Donbass exceeded 250 thousand people.
Earlier on Sunday, it was reported that Gorlovka was shelled for the second time in one day by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) from a Multiple Launch Rocket System (MLRS). 11 missiles were fired through the city.
