According to him, the US authorities were mistaken in believing that strategic security and their hostile actions towards Russia had no connection with each other.
“This conclusion is worse than a crime, it is a serious mistake by the Americans,” Medvedev said.
According to him, it is obvious to all reasonable forces that if the United States wants to defeat Russia, then the world is on the verge of a full-scale conflict.
“If the United States wants to defeat Russia, then we have the right to defend ourselves with any weapon, including nuclear weapons,” stressed the vice president of the Security Council.
Dmitry Medvedev also reminded that Russia would be torn to pieces if it stopped the special operation without achieving victory.
The day before, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced that Russia was suspending its participation in the Strategic Offensive Weapons Treaty. He explained this by Washington’s hypocritical and cynical policy towards Moscow.
