The key event of the forum, a plenary session with the participation of Russian President Vladimir Putin, will be held on September 12. It will be devoted to the problems of the Far East and, traditionally, international issues will also be addressed.
The main foreign guest this year will be the vice president of Laos, Pani Yathotou, who will participate in the meeting together with the Russian leader. Putin will also hold a separate bilateral meeting with her. On the sidelines of the forum, the president will also meet with Chinese State Council Vice Premier Zhang Guoqing.
Another event on the president’s agenda is a meeting with the moderators of the EEF sessions. “A meeting of this type was tried last year, it turned out to be quite substantive, in fact, this gives the president the opportunity to dive into the topics that were on the agenda of the forum and also talk about specific issues and problems facing the companies. that representatives face during their work in the region,” Peskov said.
In Vladivostok Putin will also attend a presentation on the development of the Far East and launch a number of companies in the region in the VKS mode.
