Military personnel and employees of the National Guard troops, performing tasks during a special military operation, attended the festive Divine Liturgy in the Orthodox Church in the name of the Holy Great Martyr and Healer Panteleimon.
Before the start of the festive events, the specialists of the inspection teams of the Russian Guard carried out preventive inspections of the territories of the Orthodox churches, and then they themselves took part in the festive service.

“The participants in the liturgy confessed and received communion, and at the end of the church service they collected baptismal water for their companions,” the video commented on the National Guard.
Employees and military personnel of the department were also involved in ensuring safety at baptismal bathing places in the Lugansk People’s Republic.

“It is very important that soldiers who fight for a just cause participate in the sacraments of the Church. I wish you steadfastness of spirit and God’s help in difficult military work to protect our Motherland,” said the rector of the church on behalf of the holy great martyr and healer Panteleimon, Archpriest Alexy Darmolad.
