One of the decisions of the head of state referred to the extension of the preferential mortgage program. It will be extended until July 1, 2024 with an increase in the rate to 8%. The circle of beneficiaries of the “Family Mortgage” will also be expanded and a special program for the purchase of new construction housing will be launched at a rate of 2% for new regions of the country. “I ask the Ministry of Finance to submit all regulatory documents to the government by December 20 so that from the new year all mortgage programs will operate under such conditions,” ordered Mikhail Mishustin.

To support large families, the government has allocated an additional 8.5 billion rubles, which will be used for lump sum payments for partial repayment of the mortgage. For further development of the rural areas of the country, the government continues to modernize the post offices there. “As the president pointed out, the postal service is one of the core industries and it must always work, and the services that people need must be provided as quickly and conveniently as possible,” the prime minister recalled. This year, a program to renovate post offices in the interior was launched. Approximately 1,200 will be modernized by the end of the year, after which this work will continue. “We will allocate five billion rubles for these purposes next year from the federal budget.
