American singer Miley Cyrus has announced the release of a new single “Flowers”. The announcement came during Miley’s New Year’s Eve party. NME writes about it.
Last month, “New Year, New Miley” billboards appeared in many cities. Later, a countdown to the single’s release date of January 13 appeared on the singer’s official website.
In the teaser video, Cyrus walks the streets of California in a gold suit and sunglasses and sings a snippet of the song: “I can love me more, baby. I can love myself more.” In the second video, another fragment of the composition sounds and the location changes.
At Miley’s New Year’s Eve party, Miley co-hosted with Dolly Parton, with whom she also performed several songs, including “Wrecking Ball,” “Jolene,” Joan Jett’s “I Love Rock’n’Roll,” “Walking After Midnight » by Patsy Cline and «I Will Always Love You» by Whitney Houston.
Miley Cyrus has been sued before. She was accused of copyright infringement by the photographer Robert Barbera, whose image the interpreter published on social networks. The publication was made in February 2021.
