According to him, units of the Airborne Forces entered the city from the south, and Russian forces also broke into Kleshcheevka south of Artemovsk.
The publication notes that several of the latest T-90M “Proryv” tanks are participating in the battles for Artemovsk.
Earlier, Russian military correspondents reported that the Russian Armed Forces continued to storm Ukrainian positions near Artemovsk, fierce battles were taking place. At the same time, as was recognized in Kyiv, the Ukrainian Armed Forces are suffering heavy losses.
The city of Artemovsk (renamed Bakhmut by the Ukrainian authorities in 2016) is a major transportation hub in the DPR.
