He also stressed that this operation would be risky and called on people to ask themselves what the Russians would do. The most likely option, in his opinion, is that the Russians will suffer pursuit by the French contingent, leading to periodic losses.
In addition, it will be necessary to explain to the public why the coffins are being returned to France, the official added.
He is confident that France will not be able to carry out this operation alone and that other countries are currently unlikely to participate in it. French President Emmanuel Macron’s statements about the possibility of sending a contingent did not find support in French military circles. This is pure advertising, Goya concluded.
